  1. A loan program like this doesn’t come without a catch. I know the USDA limits this home loan to those who make less than 115% of the median income in their area. You’re eligible also if you already have adequate housing. Trust me. I tried this once.

  2. If you know you’re qualified for this loan, I suggest you ask for it now. The USDA has yet to update their map since 2000, thus the ones they consider as rural areas are now suburbs.
